Lili Wilde started in the early nineties as a writer, photographer and correspondent for Lisbon's music weekly Blitz. She immediately joined Melody Maker, the much loved but now defunct music paper, where bands like Oasis and Supergrass - among many others - made their debut in print with Lili.
Since then, she has had her work in publications in more than 30 countries including The Times, The Guardian and The Washington Post, and in numerous music biographies.
She has worked with the filmmaker Donald Takeshita-Guy on most of his film projects.
Recently, she has worked as an associate of the multiple award-winning BBC Newsnight journalist, Greg Palast, and in 2006 made picture of the day in the Publishers of America Weekly.
Fuelled by the love of film, she has been trying to separate the thick from the subtle, working with amazing people, to make images you can hear.
